Nut Butter Jammin' Milkshakes

 

2 heaping Tablespoons Sallie’s Greatest Strawberry + Basil or Blueberry + Lavender Jam

2 heaping tablespoons Nut Butters

3 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

1 cup milk

Mix all together in blender. Blend until mixed well. 

Peach + Mint Sweet Tea Martini

 

1 ½ oz. Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka

1 ½ oz. Orange juice

1 oz. sparkling water

1 heaping tsp. Sallie’s Greatest Peach + Mint Jam

Thin peach slice

Fresh mint leaf

 

Put all in a shaker with ice. Shake to blend then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a peach slice and fresh mint leaf.

Grilled Trigger Fish with Peach + Mint Buerre Blanc Sauce

 

1-2 pounds Trigger Fish (can use any mild white fish)

3-6 tablespoons Sallie's Greatest Peach + Mint Jam

3-6 tablespoons butter

2 heads of romaine lettuce

Olive oil

White Wine or Water

 

 

 

Season fish with salt and pepper. Heat grill pan to medium heat. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan until hot but not smoking. Cut the romaine lettuce in half. Dress with seasoned oil and vinegar. Sear the cut side down for about 5 minutes. Set aside on a serving dish. Reheat pan with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Put fish in hot pan and cook on one side for about 2-3 minutes. Turn over and cook 2-3 minutes longer. Melt the Peach + Mint Jam in a small sauce pan, thin down with white wine or water, and add the butter to form a sauce. Lay the grilled fish on the romaine lettuce and drizzle the Peach + Mint Buerre Blanc sauce over the fish. Serve immediately.

Tallegio Peach + Mint Panini

1 (1lb) loaf of ciabatta bread (or 8 slice country bread)
1/4 cup olive oil
8 oz. Tallegio cheese or brie, sliced
2 large peaches pitted and cut into 1/4 inch wedges
1/4 jar Peach + Mint jam
Pinch salt & pepper
3 oz. arugula or baby spinach





Preheat the Panini pan. Cut the ciabatta loaf into 8 equal pieces. Halve each piece horizontally to make 4 sandwiches. Brush bread on both sides with olive oil and place the bottom-half of the bread slices in the Panini pan in a single layer. Heat until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes. Continue with remaining top slices of bread. 

While the top slices of bread are in the pan, begin forming the sandwiches. Divide the cheese among the warm bread; cover the cheese with the slices of peaches. Put a thin coat of Peach + Mint Jam on the peaches, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with a handful of arugula. Place the warmed top half of bread over the arugula and return the finished sandwich to the Panini pan. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.  

Jammin' Mojitos

Peach + Mint Mojito


1 oz. lemon or lime juice
1 oz. Sallie's Greatest Peach + Mint Jam
15 fresh mint leaves
1.5 oz. rum
Club soda

Muddle lemon/lime juice, jam and mint leaves. Add rum and stir with crushed ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with slice of fresh peach and sprig of fresh mint if desired.

Blueberry + Lavender Mojito


1 oz. lime juice
1 oz. Sallie's Greatest Blueberry + Lavender Jam
15 fresh mint leaves
1.5 oz. rum
Club soda

Muddle lime juice, jam and mint leaves. Add rum and stir with crushed ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a few blueberries and sprig of fresh mint.

Strawberry + Basil Mojito


1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. Sallie's Greatest Strawberry + Basil Jam
6 - 8  fresh basil leaves
1.5 oz. rum
Club soda

Muddle the lemon juice, jam, and basil leaves. Add rum, crushed ice and stir. Top with Club Soda. Garnish with fresh strawberry and a sprig of basil if desired.
